New Job Opportunity - Cybersecurity Strategies Specialist:

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Fort Belvoir, VA. Looking to hire an experienced Cybersecurity Strategies Specialist with at least four years of prior related professional experience. This is an analyst role not a heavy tech role

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire 
• On Site

Day to Day Activities:

• Develop, test, implement and research security systems

• The cybersecurity specialist will work with company leaders to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Listen to company leaders' concerns and goals for cybersecurity and help them establish a plan to protect sensitive information and minimize interruptions to standard business operations.
• Analyze a company's assets and potential threats and vulnerabilities to those assets and identify proper controls, policies and procedures to help companies improve their security posture.

Qualifications: 

• An Active Secret Security Clearance will be required for this role
• A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is required 
• At least four years or professional experience focusing on cybersecurity strategy analysis
• Knowledge of the Clinger Cohen Act of 1996 (CCA) and federal cybersecurity policies and regulations is highly preferred
• A certification in cybersecurity is highly preferred
