Install Video Wall systems which commonly include 55”-to-80” LCD display arrays, wall mounts, Cat5/6 and Display Port or HDMI cabling between displays, and power cables.
Configure display equipment which often includes physical alignment of the displays, color balance, and signal testing with Activu Implementation Engineers on site.
Utilize hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Accurately read and utilize tools such as tape measures, levels, and T-Squares to install and calibrate wall mounts and displays.
Perform on-site cable termination, most commonly RJ-45, Phoenix Block, and SC and LC fiber.
Assist with assembling rack mounted system components.
Receive shipments of equipment sent from Activu warehouse, offload packaged displays and pallets from trucks, stage equipment at client sites for installation.
Troubleshoot display equipment as needed, including interpreting any error codes, determining cable vs. display issues, etc.
Assist Implementation Engineers with integration efforts as needed.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Typical office or active building construction site assembly environment; majority of time spent at installation site as part of daily routine.
Have the ability to stand and lift 50 pounds overhead.
Use of 6’-to-8’ ladders, scaffolding, or mechanical lifts and be comfortable pulling cable or installing equipment on such setups.
Pull cable and use tools in spaces such as drop ceilings and raised floors.
