- Must have engineering degree
- Strong experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Responsible for the engineering aspect of manufacturing and machining operations through a team of lead associates. Maintains design control and supports project schedule, wood processing, and fabrication through project life cycle.
Job Duties:
- Supervising the development of computer-aided design (CAD) project drawings from junior team members
- Developing, initiating and managing all phases of projects
- Preparing documentation of critical analysis and providing suggestions for correcting errors
- Responsible for breaking down high level drawings and models to piece mark drawings and adding material, symbols, call outs, etc.
- Interpret customer drawings and specifications.
- Ensure contractual requirements are met.
- Assemble/prepare and support job packets to and through production.
- Support planning, prototype hardware fabrication, and the assembly processes for current and new programs.
- Identify, quantify, and procure materials.
- Bachelors degree is required
- Solidworks experience required
- AutoCAD experience required
