As a Loan Processor, you will collaborate with clients, loan officers, and underwriters to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of loan applications.
Responsibilities:
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all required documents are provided.
- Verify and validate applicant information, employment history, credit reports, and financial statements.
- Communicate with clients, loan officers, and underwriters to gather any missing information or clarify discrepancies.
- Prepare and organize loan files, maintaining meticulous records throughout the application process.
- Follow industry regulations and company policies to ensure compliance and adherence to lending standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues that may arise during the loan processing cycle.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with borrowers, providing updates on the status of their loan applications.
- Ensure timely submission of complete loan packages to underwriting for approval.
- Assist in preparing closing documents and coordinating loan closings.
