Business Analyst

New Job Opportunity - Business Analyst:

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Herndon, VA. Looking to hire a Business Analyst with at least eight years of prior related professional experience working as a business process analyst(preferably in an IT Project environment). We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks. 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire 
• Remote - But must be located in the D.C. Maryland or Virginia Area

Day to Day Activities:

• Gather intelligence from corporate executives and middle managers about needs and future growth
• Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware and IT processes
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders, including manufacturing teams, to gather and document detailed requirements for system enhancements, process improvements, and new initiatives
• Process Analysis: Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and systems to identify areas for optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction
• System Design: Develop detailed system design specifications and functional requirements that align with business needs and objectives, with a focus on manufacturing applications and technologies
•  Data Analysis: Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities for data-driven decision-making
•  Testing and Quality Assurance /QA Process: Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that solutions meet the defined requirements and are free from defects
•  Change Management: Assist in planning and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes within the manufacturing domain

Qualifications: 

• Security Clearance is Required (At least Secret)
• Would like Professional experience working in a government setting 
• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Business, or a related degree is preferred. 
• Familiarity with CMMI business processes 
• Certifications in business analysis programs are preffered
• Candidate should have a proven track record of progressive leadership as well as the ability to influence leadership based on sound business principles.
• Strong work ethic, self-starter, and internally driven.
