Lead Systems/Network Engineer (Azure/Office 365)

Position Summary
As a Systems Engineer for Azure and Office 365 administration, You will be working in a nationally diversified team environment to support, maintain, document Microsoft technologies which support organization business process and employee productivity. Working with Microsoft Center of Excellence Team within our Corporate IT, you will have a solid understanding of Office 365 and Azure Services, Email, Microsoft Teams and cloud technologies in general, as well as experience working in new implementation projects. Selected candidate will also have excellent opportunity to advance the career in Microsoft cloud technologies.


Responsibilities
Provide Primary administration and tier 3 technical support for Azure, Office 365 and Azure Active Directory services in multiple domains/tenants.
Perform daily, weekly maintenance routines by proactively actioning on alerts from Monitoring systems related to the above technologies.
Manage M365 subscriptions, licenses, and Identity management and automations using PowerShell, other scripting languages
Manage and provide technical expertise with migrating email from various platforms and tenants to M365 to support mergers and acquisition activities.
Create and implement automated processes that reduce manual efforts and increase overall efficiency and scalability in Azure and Office 365 environments.
Review Azure internal expenditure, develop report and present to stakeholders to take cost reduction actions
Manage and adhere to all facets of the ITIL concepts such as Change Management Process when making changes to the key production systems.
Assist with the creation and modification of all technical documentation/knowledge articles related to installation, configuration procedures, system documentation, and Standard Operation Manuals
Work parallelly with support and on-going technology projects as assigned.
Provide after hours support as needed for critical systems (Ex: Maintenance & Escalations) and collaborate with Team members in different time zones.
Flexibility to work with a global team in multiple time zones when needed during team meetings and technical workshops
Assists with other duties as directed by management and achieve goals set to be align with organizational goals

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • The ideal applicant should have bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or more than 3 years of experience in related field. 
  • This person must have strong leadership qualities. And previous leadership experience is a must.
  • Strong and professional verbal and written English communication skills are required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and interest in cloud computing and cyber security
  • Experience in multi-tenant Azure and Office 365 environments
  • Experience in Microsoft service within Azure Active Directory
  • Experience in Scripting/Automations using PowerShell or another scripting language
  • Good understanding of Azure services including but not limited to Azure VMs, Azure Databases, Storage Accounts, Azure Security, cost management and network security groups
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS Services
  • Experience in Cloud Networking, Governance, Disaster Recovery and Security
  • Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect expert and Azure security certifications
  • Experience in Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
