Reliability Director & Integrity Maintenance

Orlando, FL - Full Time

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manages the department accountable for all aspects of reliability improvement related projects.  Establishes annual/quarterly goals for department.  Directs activities to achieve objectives.
  • Serves as the corporate subject matter expert with respect to Mechanical Integrity, Reliability and Maintenance. 
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of all company policies, and all subordinate standards, procedures, and guidelines related to MI, Reliability, and Maintenance. 
  • Ensures company standards, procedures, and work processes at each site provide robust compliance related to applicable MI requirements found in applicable OSHA PSM & EPA RMP statutes. 
  • Optimizes asset performance by developing and implementing appropriate maintenance strategies and predictive technologies. 
  • Oversees the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). 
  • Utilizes Reliability Engineering tools & methods such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), FMEA, RCFA, PM Plan optimizations and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). 
  • Serves as the primary interface for inquiries or visits by OSHA and the EPA with respect to MI. 
  • Assesses and prioritizes company-wide MI-related risks and reliability opportunities; leads the development of action plans / initial scope for projects addressing these types of improvements. 
  • Develops, owns, maintains, shares, and reacts to Maintenance and Reliability KPIs for all sites. 
  • Develops and delivers applicable site training - interfaces with company Training and Development Manager 
  • Ensures applicable site personnel receive adequate training in applicable policies, procedures, and programs related to MI, Reliability and Maintenance. 
  • Provides support for individual sites, include exception approvals for critical MI-related work processes. 
  • Provides project support to the PMO organization on design changes impacting MI or Equipment Reliability. 
  • Provides generalized support to the Maintenance and Reliability professionals at individual sites as needed. 
  • Responsible for an effective equipment inspection program. 
  • Manages the 3rd party relationships necessary to support inspection, PM, and PdM programs. 
  • Auditor at sites to ensure the effectiveness of standards, procedures, and work processes they are responsible for to ensure those aspects of the program are working and providing the protections and benefits as designed. 
  • Interfaces with other standard owners as needed when standards, procedures, work processes interact or overlap to ensure clarity of roles and that all stakeholder needs are met.  
  • Present periodic performance reports and metrics to the VP of Automation and Digital Strategy and other leadership.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the VP of Manufacturing Operations

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
  • Minimum of (10) years’ experience in Asset Integrity, Reliability and/or Maintenance leadership within a manufacturing, and preferably petrochemical industry. 
  • Certifications as CMRP, CMRT and/or CRL preferred 
  • Experience with reliability analysis (FMEA), cause mapping, and PdM/PM development 
  • Experience with relevant CMMS, MI and RBI tools  
  • Proficient with modern workplace software (Office, etc.)
