Director of Proposals

Job Summary:

You will oversee a team of proposal writers and coordinators, ensuring the highest quality and timely delivery of proposals. Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial opportunity identification to final submission.
• Manage and mentor a team of proposal writers and coordinators, providing guidance and support throughout the proposal lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and subject matter experts, to gather information and develop proposal strategies.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand client requirements, competitive landscapes, and industry trends.
• Develop and maintain a repository of proposal templates, boilerplate content, and standard proposal components to streamline the proposal development process.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, including formatting, content, and submission deadlines.
• Review and edit proposals for clarity, coherence, and alignment with client needs.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposal development process.
• Track and report on proposal metrics, including win rates, success factors, and lessons learned.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in proposal development.
