Project Controls Engineer

New Job Opportunity - Project Controls Engineer:
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Looking to hire a Controls Engineer with at least 2+ years of prior related professional experience. Candidates must have 2+ years of scheduling experience on data center projects. Must have Primavera P6 Experience and need data Center experience
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- On Site 4 days a week - work from home 1 day a week
- Salary (dependent on experience ranging from 80k-125k)
Day to Day Activities:
- Main responsibility includes developing and monitoring CPM schedules and project control systems
- Evaluate and design components and strategies.
- Communicate cross-functionally to ensure project deliverables.
- Reviews and analyzes contract management records to provide technical advice or project control guidance.
- Assists with cost controls reporting and reconciliation of project cost
- Read and understand mechanical assembly and electrical schematic/wiring diagrams.
- Tests control panels with high voltage equipment - Create platform to control equipment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or greater in a relevant field from a (four-year) college or university. Electrical Engineering Controls Engineering etc.
- At least 2+ years of experience in industrial control systems design, specification, operation and maintenance.
- Experience with Primavera P6
- Must be able to read/interpret RFIs
- 4D Scheduling
