Healthcare Writer (Remote)

Salary: $100,000 - 120,000 per year. 

We are seeking a Medical/Claims Writer. Candidate can work remotely, but needs to be local to DC to come on site for meetings once a month. 

• Independently review and analyze complex files thoroughly, including medical records, tax records, correspondence, and similar materials
• Write unbiased, complete, and concise summaries of the facts, while using discretion to write recommendations for further action
• Compose clear and concise letters involving complex matters in deliverable form for client
• Collaborate with team to design and provide strategic responses to a high volume of complex matters
• Review work product of team members and provide editorial comments and technical suggestions

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• At least 5 years of substantial writing and/or editing experience
• Experience reviewing medical records preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
