New Job Opportunity - Environmental Health & Safety Manager
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Hunt Valley, MD. Looking to hire a mid level EHS Manager with a minimum of 2+ years of related work experience as a safety manager in a manufacturing setting.
Logistics of the Role:

- Salary - Dependent on experience
Day to Day Activities:
- Establishes and promotes a healthy and safe work environment.
- Oversees the implementation and maintenance of environmental health and safety management systems.
- Emphasizes accountability around safety policies and decisions.
- Aids in the development and implementation of divisional and corporate safety strategy across multiple locations.
- Ensures accurate and timely record keeping and document management.
- Leads the development, review and implementation of site emergency programs.
- Interfaces with regulatory and public sector agencies as appropriate.
- Leads, supports and guides facility safety committees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental health and Safety, Business, or related Engineering degree
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of management/supervisory experience
- Depending on the project: Ability to frequently travel on day trips
- Preferred: OSHA 40-hour certification and current 8-hour refresher certification
