Industrial Controls Engineer

New Job Opportunity - Industrial Controls Engineer:

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Baltimore, MD. Looking to hire an Industrial Controls Engineer with at least 1 year of related professional work experience (Hiring Junior to Sr. level).  

(Must have PLC experience, specifically Allen Bradley and Human Machine Interface (HMI)

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire 
• This is a hybrid position, but will have to be onsite 5 days a week for first 6 months. After that, 1-2 days from home per week is a possibility.
• Compensation: Depending on Experience 

Day to Day Activities:

• Participates individually or on cross-functional teams focused on relentless continuous improvement and problem solving activities throughout the company.
• Design and testing of control systems(Large-Scale). 
• PLC Software development and development of HMI. 
• Research, justify and implement cost saving projects that focus on the improvement of equipment efficiency.
• Assist corporate Technical Services department with project creation and implementation.
• Design, Integrate and maintain automated process data collection systems.
• Assist in developing internal training and resources.
• Design, Integrate and maintain automated alarming systems notifying the plant of down equipment.
• Design, construct and install automation devices.

Qualifications: 

• Work experience in industrial controls 
• Proficient in PLC function block programming & troubleshooting
• PLC communication protocols experience 
• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, or relevant field and/or experience.
