Process Engineer

New Job Opportunity - Process Engineer:

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Windsor Mill, MD. Looking to hire an experienced process engineer with a minimum of 4+ of related work experience (Manufacturing engineer or related). 
(Need someone with new product development experience and must be comfortable with client facing time)

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time Direct Hire
• On Site 
• Compensation is Dependent on Experience 

Day to Day Activities:

• Responsible for the manufacturing process - Design Qualification (DQ), Instillation Qualification (IQ), operational Qualification (OP), and performance Qualification (PQ). 
• Provide input and technical support to Seaming process development project teams, or manufacturing teams across the forming group
• Lead department productivity and quality improvement projects to ensure project goals are met within established timelines
• Utilize advanced statistical tools and problem-solving skills to investigate, analyze and resolve difficult process or improvement issues in Seaming Department
• Monitor industry trends and new technology, create innovative solutions to shape the site manufacturing operations
• Help plan digital manufacturing system strategy & roadmap to incorporate Industry 4.0 principles to rethink manufacturing systems
• Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of site digital

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience
• Working experience with process controls utilizing various statistical techniques. (DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ)
• B.S. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Efficient communication and time management.
• Curiosity, continuous motivation to learn, and persistent work ethic.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
