Description

We are hiring for a well-rounded Salesforce Integration Engineer with a background in Data Migration, Data Integration, automation, and Salesforce configuration. Having a more extensive background with Salesforce data is highly valuable for this role as it involves updating the Salesforce data model and automating data loads into Salesforce as a target system and making that data available for reporting through Power BI. The Salesforce Integration Engineer will collaborate with a mix of technical experts and architects, business/product owners, business analysts, technical writers, testers, and scrum masters in an Agile-Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Analyze systems of record and associated data stores to develop and maintain logical and physical data models, working closely with business owners and data stewards
• Support the Salesforce Team with data integration and data migration using technologies like Apex Data Loader, SOAP, REST API
• Map and migrate data from source systems to Salesforce.com Objects and Fields
• Perform basic Salesforce configurations to support data being loaded
• Develop, manage, and maintain automated data integrations between external sources and Salesforce 
• Provide subject matter expertise for making internal data available to cloud based (SaaS and PaaS) solutions
• Bring technical expertise to the team in the areas of automating data feeds
• Analyze and profile source data sets and develop approaches for ingestion
• Design and configure cloud native data management platforms to include technologies such as Power Automate and Power BI
• Support analytics initiatives to ensure that the right people are seeing the right data at the right time using tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and others
• Research and correct data anomalies within Salesforce
• Develop a deep understanding of all data structures and relationships between Salesforce and other connected systems
• Actively participate with an Agile-Scrum team
• Engage with the team to refine and estimate stories in the backlog

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related area or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with a Minimum Three (3) years of experience in all aspects of data integration and development
• Demonstrated proficiency with a Minimum Three (3) years of experience in SQL / T-SQL for database querying and modification
• Demonstrated proficiency with a Minimum One (1) year of experience automating data loads
• Experience creating automated data feeds with tools such as Apex Data Loader, Power Automate, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory
• Candidates will need to obtain Security Clearance of Public Trust once hired
• New Team Members must be fully vaccinated from COVID-19 per federal guidelines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent understanding of underlying principles of Cloud Computing and Salesforce
• Have solid experience running/participating in meetings with remote team members through collaboration technology
• Have some experience with agile and collaboration technologies including Jira and SharePoint
• Have solid Client Interaction and Problem-solving skills
