Growing government client has a need for a satellite communications (SATCOM) Engineer to be part of military communications standardization efforts.
We are looking for a seasoned engineer to work in our Baltimore, MD office. It will be a combination of both remote and on-site. The right candidate will be part of a team developing, testing, porting, and integrating a DoD UHF waveform to the customer’s targeted radio. The candidate can be a PhD, Masters, or College Degree with experience. We are looking for an engineer with both hardware (FPGA, DSP, etc.) used on the lower physical modem layer; and software (C code) for developing the upper layer components of the waveform. An engineer who understands MIL STD requirements traceability, interface definition, architecture design, Model Sim and all the various facets of developing, simulating, testing, and porting a DoD waveform to a targeted radio platform. This engineer will join a team of seasoned engineers led by our VP of Engineering and Chief Scientist (PhD) with over 60 years of wireless expertise. Requirements Minimum qualification:
BSEE in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Hardware DSP, FPGA, etc.
Experience in wireless communications systems, particularly satellite SATCOM communications.
