Sr. Accounting Manager (Director Level Position)

New Job Opportunity - Sr. Accounting Manager
New and exciting fully remote job opportunity. Looking to hire an experienced accounting professional with a minimum of 10+ years of related work experience. Will report directly to the controller.
- Candidate must have ISNIP (Institutional Special Needs Plan) experience
- Need either a CPA or CMA and BS degree in related field
- Must be familiar with NAIC reporting
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- Fully Remote
- Our client is looking to pay within a range of 145k-200k (Essentially dependent on experience)
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department/teams (day-to-day management of Order Entry, Billing, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable)
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Assists with Monthly Financial closing entries and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax planning and preparation
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Accounting or finance Degree is Required
- Minimum of 10+ years of working accounting experience
- Full Cycle Accounting Experience
- Must have either a CPA or CMA
- Communications and Organizational Skills
- Management / Leadership Experience
- knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
