New Job Opportunity - Senior Accountant
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Rockville, MD. Looking to hire an experienced accounting professional with a minimum of 3+ years of related work experience in accounting. Healthcare Experience is highly preferred

Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- Hybrid Remote: 2 days of remote work a week
- Review your own work for completeness and accuracy.
- Processing payroll and maintaining records.
- On-board and off-board our client's employees.
- Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset records.
- Participate in business compliance reporting, including preparing schedules for sales and business tax returns.
- Prepare schedules for audit support.
- Research and resolve basic accounting issues.
- Perform other month-end close activities, and other job-related duties, when asked to.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field is required
- Minimum of 3+years of working accounting experience - Experience working in a healthcare focused industry is highly preferred
- Full Cycle Accounting Experience
- Communications and Organizational Skills
- Management / Leadership Experience
- knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) + revenue accounting standards (ASC 606)
