Develop skills to lead analysis of business opportunities and provide management team with recommendations regarding economic benefits of JV or M&A transactions
Present results of analysis in a clear and concise manner to management
Lead preparation of financial models while making key decisions regarding appropriate business drivers regarding growth
Assist JV team in execution / management of M&A deals and Joint Venture transactions that will drive the overall growth of OUR CLIENT’S
Participate in internal strategic meetings that drive the growth of the business
Assist in preparing business case for internal and external use for JV and M&A transactions
Assist with core business development activities, such as generating presentation decks and communicating internally and externally to illustrate business trends
Use excel to assist with the analysis of financial metrics, valuation including discounted cash flow valuation, return on investment, etc. with respect to OUR CLIENT’S’s business;
Serve as liaison between business development and operations/technical/sales/feedstock groups to ensure appropriate projection and understanding of opportunities
Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives
Develop and organize due diligence summaries for external requests; this will include understanding OUR CLIENT’S’s technology and underlying business drivers to be able to answer due diligence questions and provide the necessary requested information
Track and coordinate information flow between companies and ensure the project stays on schedule during due diligence period
Ad Hoc analysis and assist with miscellaneous projects that may arise
Sit in on negotiations and advise based with respect to the due diligence performed
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
One or more years of experience in manufacturing industry
Ability to develop and foster relationships
Ability to learn both the technical and financial metrics of OUR CLIENT’S’s business
Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to gather and skillfully analyze information and present solutions
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required
