New Job Opportunity - Manufacturing Planning Associate

New job opportunity with a client based out of Canonsburg, PA. Looking to hire an experienced Manufacturing Planning Associate with at least 3 years of related working experience in a related role, experienced in a manufacturing environment, and has knowledge of the receipt and stocking processes (As well as knowledge of IFS principles).
 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - 6 Month Contract to Hire
• On Site

Day to Day Activities: 

• Manage wholistic production schedule & future forecast demand for facility loading, streamlining processes so that purchasing supply chain and production can meet timelines.
•  Maintain capacity chart for proper staffing adjustments to meet manufacturing needs.
•  Communicate and coordinate with other departments regarding production schedules and any possible changes, including Sales, Project Management, Procurement, Manufacturing & end Customer.
• Be capable of using computer technology relating to enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
• Work with purchasing to develop and maintain effective delivery schedules for vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of delivery timing for critical suppliers as needed.
• Monitor material levels with Manufacturing to ensure correct material has arrived for projects.
• Work with purchasing as necessary on material overages or shortages for projects.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors Degree - Prefer business or supply chain degree.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a related role 
• Inventory Control and Material Handling Knowledge.
• Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Demonstrated proficient knowledge of
• computer systems, databases, and programs
• Working experience working in a manufacturing heavy environment
