Foreign Patent Prosecution Paralegal

New Job Opportunity - Foreign Patent Prosecution Paralegal:
New and exciting job opportunity with our client based out of Washington D.C. Looking to hire an someone who has 4+ years of foreign patent work experience
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- Hybrid - 3 days a week on site
- Compensation is dependent on experience ( Ranging from 65k-85k)
Day to Day Activities:
- Running reports of deadlines to monitor
- Assisting in the monthly billing process
- Frequently communicating with the firm’s paralegal, patent agent, and attorney teams
- Drafting patent correspondence such as Information Disclosure Statements, Preliminary Amendments, Certificates of Correction, and other Patent Office documents and/or Petitions
- Proofreading issued patents for accuracy
- Reviewing and processing incoming mail
- Communicating with clients’ administrative teams
- Interfacing with foreign counsel regarding foreign patent filings
- Providing administrative support to attorneys and patent agents as necessary
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of foreign patent experience
- Patent Experience
- College degree is highly preferred
- Experience and proficiency with microsoft office applications is required
