Manager, Grants and Contracts

New Job Opportunity - U.S. Manager, Grants and Contracts:

New and exciting hybrid job opportunity with a client based out of Silver Spring, MD. Looking to hire a Grants and Contracts Manager with at least 5 years of related professional experience dealing with government funding, structures, and regulations. Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. institutional donors and prior experience with 2 CFR 200 is required. Please review qualifications before applying. 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire 
• This is a hybrid position, will have to be onsite in Silver Spring at least 2 days a week 
• Compensation Range - 85k-95k 

Day to Day Activities:

• Meeting with client to discuss progress on reaching benchmarks in work plan/ scope of work for grant-funded projects
•  Writing and submitting grant progress reports (with input and data provided by client) to federal funding agencies
• Reviewing client-drafted financial reports to federal funding agencies.
•  Reviewing client policies and procedures for adherence to grant requirements and regulations
•  Assisting clients in registering with various federal portals as needed
• Providing ongoing technical support as needed

Qualifications: 

• 5 years of experience in grants and contracts management, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field, or substitute with four additional years of relevant experience.
• 5 years of related professional experience dealing with government funding, structures, and regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. institutional donors and prior experience with 2 CFR 200 is required.
• Experience managing USAID and State department grants is required
