Cabinet Estimator/Bids Specialist

New Job Opportunity - Cabinet Estimator/Bids Specialist:
New and exciting job opportunity with our client based out of Orlando, FL. Looking to hire a Bids Specialist with a minimum of 2+ year of Estimating experience.
Experience in homebuilding or interior design of Cabinets is ideal.
Production plans and pricing experience is highly preferred
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- On Site in Orlando, FL
- Our client is looking to pay within a range of 60k-80k
Day to Day Activities:
- Develop estimates for our scope products.
- Review plans and specifications to create bids.
- Cost analysis.
- Have some or strong understanding of our products.
- Communication with general contractors
- Communication with vendors regarding quotes or production related tasks.
- Prepare Bid Proposals including accurate review of plans and specifications, generating cabinet take-offs, pricing, and formal bid documents
- Ensure that all Bid Proposals are accurate and in compliance
- Ensure Bid Proposals are presented in a timely, effective and professional manner
- Track each project and provide regular status updates on where the project is in the Bid Phase through presentation of all bid proposal and Award
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 2+ years of estimator experience
- Production plans and pricing experience
- Experience in homebuilding or interior design - Cabinets is highly preferred
