New Job Opportunity - Assembler:
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Canonsburg, PA. Looking to hire an Assembler with at least one year of prior related professional experience. We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks.
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - 6 Month Contract to Hire - Our client is looking to pay around 20/hr
- On Site
Day to Day Activities:
- Follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions, as well as diagrams, blueprints, schematics and other technical documents to assemble products
- Hand assembly of wire looms, connectors and harness
- Collaboration with electrical engineers on prototype PCBs and hand assembly of prototype PCBs for testing purposes
- Test finished products for defects, and develop testing procedure documentation
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform rework as needed
- Complete preventative maintenance as needed
- Report manufacturing defects in product line
- Maintain the tools used to create products
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma, college degree preferred.
- 1+ year of experience as an assembler
- Familiarity with all types of machinery and equipment including hand tools
- Printed circuit boards experience (PCB).
