Secret cleared Electrical Components Engineer (Must have a degree in EE)

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
Direct, review, coordinate, and implement Electronic Part, requirements, policies, and procedures for, planning, developing, acquisition, and execution of the Part, Materials and Processes (PMP) and mission assurance, for all MDA Programs
Serve as a technical consultant on PMP policy issues affecting program reliability, mission assurance, and service life and verifies that functions and operations are performed uniformly, economically and in accordance with MDA PMAP and other applicable policies and procedures
Support MDA Program Offices in the development of PMP Plans to execute the PMAP requirements as applicable across various MDA Hardware elements from Satellites to Ground Systems
Represent MDA/QS on field visits to various Services, Commands, and Program Offices to assist in the planning, development, acquisition, and execution of the reliability, mission assurance, and service life of all MDA Programs
Perform technical evaluations to provide input on Program responses to specific inquiries for the Parts and Materials Advisory Group (PMAG) and submit reports
Engage with the MDA program offices in reviewing electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE), radiation effects/survivability and Non-Standard Parts Approval Requests (NSPAR) as well as reviews of Mechanical Parts and Materials, Material and Process Approval Request (MPAR)
Make recommendations for disposition of technical data packages and prepare a comprehensive NSPAR report
Coordinate executive-level PMP Board meetings, including facilities, logistics, and communication support
Evaluate and inspect design and manufacturing processes of electronic components/circuits or mechanical parts to ensure conformance of design and equipment specifications
Research part inherent reliability to determine suitability for application in high reliability military systems
Identify failures, research screening and qualification test plans, and recommend potential technical solutions of parts, materials, and processes applications. Activities include managing the MDA’s Parts, Materials and Processes (PMP) Program
Support Configuration Change Boards to ensure changes (alternates, substitutions, obsolescence) in configuration control are in accordance with MDA PMAP requirements
Assist in the processing and maintenance of data stored in the “As Designed” Parts, Material and Processes List (ADPMPL). Prepare related reporting presentations and documents and support process/tool improvements
Review and advise leadership on reports for the US Department of Treasury Committee on Foreign Investment of the United States (CFIUS) and creating request to Program Protection in support of supply chain risk management requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
U.S. citizenship
Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance prior to start
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics from an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) certified institution
10 years of relevant EEE parts and Supply Chain Risk Management experience on weapons systems
Experience in the detection and prevention of counterfeit parts and materials to include inspection techniques and test methods
Experience in electronic reliability and part application analyses in order to identify failures, writing screening and qualification test plans, and determining potential technical solutions of electronic components
