Job Title: Customer Care Representative (Credit Union)

  •  Location: Washington DC
  •  Must: have 1 year of credit union or banking experience
  • Salary: $19-$20/hr.
Major Duties:
  • Provides member services as opening new accounts, transfer funds, wire transfers, order checks, corrections, etc.
  • Cross-sells CU products and services and handles tickets and chats.
  • Responds to questions and/or provides information upon request from members (internal and external).
  • Processes requests/transactions, as appropriate.
  • Assists members and potential members in understanding and utilizing Credit Union products and services

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with financial software.
  • Must be able to pass background, drug, and credit checks.
