Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Test and evaluate new technology to assess its potential for use within the organization.
- Install new software and hardware drivers and update existing ones as necessary.
- Establish user accounts and profiles for new employees.
- Generate login credentials for new hires as part of the onboarding process.
- Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and networks.
- Resolve IT support requests and issues from employees in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collect and analyze data to diagnose problems with computer systems and networks.
- Demonstrate proficiency with commonly used software, hardware, and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, and security systems.
- Define software, hardware, and network requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Provide technical support to all departments in the company.
- Repair or replace equipment as required to keep systems functioning optimally.
- Effectively manage time and priorities to provide updates and fixes within agreed-upon time frames.
